Hair straightener… me the one woman who would always declare proudly to have one of the STRAIGHTEST hairs EVER, and who probably said more than once that she would never need such a machine! But yes, yesterday I got one… now why you may ask; well… it’s a LONG and SAD story… :(, lmao… nah, it’s quite simple really. I got a new haircut for Christmas and well it just wasn’t looking exactly the way I wanted it, I wasn’t 100% happy… and I wanted to be, so I figured the only way I could fix my hair was with one of these things! So doing the normal Gigi thing I was hasty and just went and got it! (without really thinking it through...). Only to realize later that SAME day… that I could actually make my hair look the way I wanted simply by shaping it that way with my own bare hands… yep, irony is SUCH a bitch. I thought about returning it but I had already opened the whole thing… and then I figured I may as well get some use out of it later… sometime. I actually like it! It’s PINK! (Yes I chose that colour on purpose :P). And well though it just seemed like a waste of time and money hopefully I’ll get some used out of it! And also I hope I don’t damage my hair… cos I know it’s apparently easy to use but I’ve never used one! And knowing me… with these cosmetic things… hmmm… :S.

Navidaaaaad!!! Familia y amigos! Espero que esta Navidad haya sido linda y
divertida y que la hallan pasado todos felices en familia! Yo aquí la pasé
obviamente con mi familia también y fue genial! Este año fue especial porque
nos reunimos TODA la familia en Noche Buena en la casa de Carlos (mi primo). Primero
celebramos el quinto cumpleaños de Jayden (Dios mío… no puedo creer lo grande
que está!) y después más noche tuvimos la cena de Navidad, que estuvo
RIQUISIMA! Había bastante comida! Yo me serví una pierna entera de pavo!
Jajajajajaja no lo terminé pero siempre quise hacer eso :P. Lo más chistoso
para mí fue que en la noche me puse un vestido rojo que estaba PRECIOSO y a la
familia también le gustó, tanto que me empezaron a tomar fotos y llegó el punto
que de verdad sentía como si estuviera en medio de una sesión fotográfica! Me
sentí famosa por cinco minutos! Jajajaaja! :D Lo único malo fue que justo
después de eso en uno de los accidentes más torpes que jamás he hecho… borré
todas las fotos sin querer! (BUAAAA!) :( :( :( fue horrible… ugh :(. Pero bueno
después de eso tomé mas fotos así que no fue una perdida total. Después Pepito
hizo su debut como el Papá Noel de la familia! Miriam le consiguió el disfraz y
se vistió de Santa para entregarles sus regalos a los bebés! (Riley, Jayden,
Grace y Reagan) de verdad que estuvo CHÉVERE! Y ya que yo estaba toda de rojo y
estaba usando el sombrerito de Santa me pidió que sea su ayudanta! Y lo mejor
fue que el disfraz no le quedaba muy bien y se le paraba cayendo! Todos nos
reíamos porque parecía que estaba haciendo un strip tease! Jajajajajaja! Pero
de verdad lo hizo muy bien! Con el JO JO JO y todo! :D (ya está totalmente
listo para ser papá! ;) )Ashley, Brandon y yo fuimos los encargados de repartir
los regalos, y lo más chistoso en ese momento fue que no le llegaba ninguno a
mi Tío Washington y se empezó a quejar! De modo que se quería robar los regalos
de los otros! Jajajaja! Todo estuvo chévere! :D La pasamos muy bien! Los
regalos también estuvieron muy bonitos! Y mi favorito fue el iPod que me
regalaron mi mamá y Gerardo! Un iPod Nano! De 8 gigabites! Aaaaaahhhh!!! Hace
TIEMPO yo quería uno así! Estoy HAPPYYYY!!!

I do sincerely hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy and have fun and eat and eat and eat! And of course that you were all good this year so that Santa brought you GREAT pressies! I celebrated Christmas last night pretty much! The Peruvian tradition is to do it the 24th at midnight, it was GREAT! We had a beautiful time; my entire family was there so it was just awesome! :) AND… I GOT AN IPOD!!! A nano ipod! You know the ones from the ad? With the girl in blue singing that cool song? Hahaha yeah I got that one! 8 GIGS BABY!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!! I’m like SOOOO happy! And I also got tons of new cool clothes and stuff :D YAY! I was good this year ;) but then again I’m always good… lmao, OK well anyway peoples have a wonderful time today and enjoy! I love you all! MWAH!

Hace dos días salieron mis resultados del semestre pasado, y como lo temía y sospechaba… fallé una de mis asignaturas de Derecho… (Ley de propiedad). Lo sospechaba porque el examen había sido bastante difícil y aunque pensé que lo había hecho razonablemente bien para tal examen… obviamente no fue suficiente. Es un poco raro ya que es algo a lo que no estoy acostumbrada del todo, hace tiempo dejé de sacarme notas altas pero tampoco me saco malas notas. Lo mas irónico de todo es que no encontré difícil la asignatura del todo, lo entendí todo y sentí que aprendí mucho… he pasado por cursos mucho peores y más aburridos en Derecho… pero creo que ésta fue una de las consecuencias que tuvo el acostumbrarme a trabajar y estudiar al mismo tiempo. No estoy tratando de poner excusas, estuvo mal que fallé, no me esforcé lo suficiente y tomo la responsabilidad completa de eso en mis manos… solamente que también sé que hubieron ciertos factores que no ayudaron. Y bueno… aunque todavía es un poco raro y el hecho que voy a tener que repetir TODO el curso de nuevo (o sea ir a las mismas clases, a escuchar las mismas lecciones…) creo que ésto ha sido algo bueno para mí, como uno de esos empujes que te hacen ver las cosas más claras. No voy a dejar de trabajar… pero sí creo que ya es hora de que me ponga más responsable con mis estudios y deje de confiar demasiado en mi inteligencia (que obviamente no siempre me funciona! :P). Bueno… supongo que uno no puede siempre ganar, y está bien… y ahora cuando haga este curso de nuevo me saco una distinción, y punto.
Channel Ten had the BRILLIANT idea of re-airing the Friends episodes from the VERY beginning every single day at 7 p.m! Yaaaaaayy!! Finally Australian TV does something right! I’m SO proud! Hahahaha but also I’m THRILLED! Not only because I never saw Friends since the VERY beginning (though I already had half season 1 on tapes I bought ages ago…) but we get to watch an episode EVERY day! It’s just awesome! I’m gonna get to see all those episodes I could never watch before! And I’m taping ALL of them! (well obviously except the ones I already have! lol) And yeah I know that’s gonna be a LOT of tapes lol but I’m up for it! I’m hopefully gonna have the ENTIRE series at the end! Woooo! It’s awesome! You can NEVER get enough Friends! :D

So my school friends and I met up yesterday to have our annual Xmas dinner! Thankfully Mish remembered to organised the whole thing (and she did it really well! THANKS Mish!) And we all got together and just had a GREAT time! Seriously it was a lot of fun! We went to… this place that right now I can’t remember the name of :S lol it was a really cool restaurant but! I had chicken fajitas! Though I have to say I didn’t like it that much… but it was OK because Kas ordered nachos and got a HUGE plate of them so I filled myself up eating them :P lol (and not even then, with me, Liz and Kas eating them we finished the plate!). Either way it was great to hang out with them again, it’s always a lot of fun and we also got presents! We did a secret Santa thing; I got this really cool little ‘shoe’ that’s meant to be a door stopper! (Very fancy ay?) And some really cool cleaning products I can use so that I don’t stink any more! So yeah it was great! We took lots of pics and probably too many videos… lol and I’m gonna post them all even if they are not exactly something to be proud of… lol! Well THANKS girls!
